Who is this network for?

The ReglaSOUL Mutual Aid & Solidarity Network is for individuals, community members, artists, educators, agricultural practitioners, organizers, organizations, and supporters who want to contribute their time, skills, resources, or connections to strengthen ReglaSOUL’s community-based work.  You do not need to have previous experience working in mutual aid. Whether you can contribute professional skills, educational resources, donated items, fundraising support, creative work, community connections, or simply a few hours of your time, there is a place for you in the network.

ReglaSOUL Mutual Aid & Solidarity Network

ReglaSOUL is building a network of individuals, organizations, artists, educators, agricultural practitioners, and community supporters who want to contribute their time, skills, resources, and connections to strengthen our community-based work in the Cuba and the larger Caribbean region.

Our Mutual Aid & Solidarity Network supports the ongoing development of ReglaSOUL's agricultural, educational, cultural, and community initiatives. Support can take many forms—from collecting essential items and organizing fundraising efforts to sharing professional skills, educational resources, and creative work.

  • Provide professional expertise in areas such as agriculture, education, nonprofit development, communications, finance, legal research, technology, and organizational development.

Additional Ways to Contribute

Our network is intentionally flexible. You do not need to make a financial contribution to participate. Some members may contribute a few hours of their time, while others may offer professional skills, organize a collection drive, provide educational resources, make introductions, or help mobilize larger networks of support.

We are especially interested in people who can offer long-term relationships and consistent support, rather than one-time contributions whenever possible.

Join the Network

If you have a skill, resource, connection, idea, or capacity that could support ReglaSOUL's work, we would love to hear from you.

Tell us what you can offer, what areas you are interested in supporting, and how you would like to contribute.

Together, we can build a network based on solidarity, reciprocity, collective learning, and shared responsibility  that supports community-led agricultural, educational, and cultural work in the Caribbean.

“Spending my spring break in Cuba was a rewarding soulful experience. I was able to not only learn about the history, culture, and the people of Cuba, but I felt that I was able to keep my hand on the pulse of the Cuban people and the importance of being an Afro-Cuban. The experiences has enriched my knowledge and understanding of the Afro Cuban society”

"Regla Soul is everything they promise and more. I remember being introduced to the opportunity in Spanish class being lured in by the prospect of visiting an afro-ecological farm in Havana, cuba. While this was the day I looked forward to the most every item on our itinerary was so complex and interdisciplinary that although my cohort had a diverse set of majors and concentrations we could all take something away from every visit and conversation. Traveling with Regla Soul is a once in a lifetime opportunity to live as closely with Cubans as possible"

“Tourist vacations typically offer surface-level education and photo-worthy sightseeing. However, our tour with Regla Soul provided a depth of experience that I will never forget. We did not simply point and shoot photos from afar. We spoke intimately with people representing the faces of Cuban history and culture. Our conversations allowed us to understand the source of Cuban pride, resilience, and innovation. I always dreamed of visiting Cuba. I'm so glad that I chose to experience the country and people with Regla Soul”
